The Challenges
The Universal Business Team (UBT) is a global consulting organization supporting over 3,000 family businesses across 19 countries. The company has gone through exponentially growth periods and added staff and affiliates in many countries. It has a global distributed workforce of ~2000 employees, external consultants and volunteers.
Due to the presence of external consultants and volunteers that had to be tracked manually, our main challenge was to maintain a single, reliable source of staff directory for secure offboarding.h.
The Detexian Solution
Detexian highlighted a problem that we considered to be under control. We have a well-defined logical access management process, but Detexian was able to identify orphaned accounts across several critical cloud applications.
We used Detexian to consolidate user access across critical apps into one view, making it easy to spot and rectify anomalies. We uncovered significant cost savings by removing inactive accounts and outdated contractor access, reducing risks of account takeovers and business email compromises.
